About
A personal note from Ann Collins
Photography is my passion. I first starting taking photos when I had a GAP year in Zimbabwe almost 20 years ago where I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the people I met and the places I visited. My love affair with photography has continued and developed from living, working and travelling oversease in a range of places including Zimbabwe, Romania, Pakistan and Cambodia and more recently as a VSO volunteer in Nepal. Trying to capture the essence of a place and people living there became my prime reason for taking photos and now back in Bedford, I have turned to taking photos more locally. Every time I take out my camera, I want to capture that special moment, that certain expression, that look.My style is natural, considered and contemporary without the use of a studio background. I like to take a backseat and watch the action and capture those little moments with my camera. Usually, I come to your house, place of work or travel to a local place that you know well. Feeling relaxed and happy in a place is important and shows in the final results.
I want you to love the photographs I take for you. By listening to your ideas, encouraging a relaxed atmosphere at the photo session and working efficiently, I hope we can work as a team and that you will be delighted with the results.
